Welcome to Alto Atacama’s new website. We want you to enjoy and use our new site, not just as a guide of the hotel, but as a comprehensive introduction of the amazing experience that is the Atacama Desert. Enjoy the pictures and play with the excursion map. You can zoom in and out and scroll it as you wish, position the icon on the numbered dots and enter the excursion that you want to check. We want to give special thanks to our main photographer, Haroldo Horta, the one that captured most of the great images that will hopefully transport you to Atacama, thanks to Axel and Deborah, great people that understood the essence of Alto Atacama and helped us display it. Rodrigo and Viviana for the tasteful combination of pictures that appear in the site, and all the clients and friends that have visited us in our first year of operation, we enjoy your comments and good wishes and we want you to participate as much as you want in the development of this project.

Bolivia, 5 am, 10 degrees below cero and eyes and minds set on the summit of the Licancabur volcano, 5930 above sea level. Our group consists of 6 members of Alto Atacama, among them, the creators of the Alto atacama project; Andres Maclean and Cesar Burotto.
